2013 Volvo V40 Feature Car Review
The 2013 Volvo V40 features a high class driving dynamic. The chassis is designed to offer the agile, connected experience to create driving fun. The engine offered range from Volvo’s first diesel with CO2 emissions of just 94 g/km to the turbocharged T5 petrol engine with 254 hp and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. All engine versions feature start-stop and braking energy regeneration, no matter whether they are fitted with a manual or automatic transmission.
The new V40s interior, While you still get the feeling that its a Volvo from details like the shape of the center console and the air-conditioning and audio system controls, the Swedish brands designers added a rather futuristic looking instrument panel into the mix.
Volvos premium hatchback measures 4,500 mm or about 177-inches in length, making it only 20 mm or 0.77-inches shorter than the V50 station wagon, and considerably longer than its rivals like the BMW 1-Series 5-door model (4,324 mm or 170.2-in.)
