2012 DC Design Avanti
DC DESIGN AVANTI
The DC Design Avanti - thats his name - has plenty of time to arouse our curiosity, especially since it has a style to say the least original.
Even if he takes the Christian name of the famous American Studebaker Avanti coupe produced between 1962 and 1963, the namesake of India adopted a different design. Futuristic, it is indeed far from the neo-retro minimalist with a bow that has a certain air of Ferrari 458.
The profile of this beautifully sculpted sides rising cut adopt wider at the rear than the front wings, reinforcing the impression of dynamism. However, the most original, if not called intriguing, is the stern with organic design may sound like a beetles back.
Under the hood, the Indian bodybuilder propose initially a four-cylinder turbo 268 hp Ford will be joined later by an original Honda V6, 406 bhp strong.
If the engines and chassis will be prepared in England, architectural aluminum and fiberglass hulls will be crafted in the workshops of DC Design, located in Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
